Rate: £ 35 to £ 40 K - per annum

Our client is a leading independent provider of care to elderly service users across the UK.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and dynamic Nursing Home Manager for a 30bedded Nursing and Dementia Home a couple of miles outside Carlisle in Cumbria.

Main purpose of the role:

-To oversee the care of residents within the Care Home.
-To take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the Care Home
-The marketing of the home
-Occupancy levels
-To ensure that all Company policies and procedures, and all legal requirements are adhered to within the defined timescales.

A sound knowledge and understanding of Care Inspectorate Standards and a proven track record of achieving high standards of care in this area would be a distinct advantage.

Skills required should include the ability to manage budgets and market the home to its optimum potential as well as manage the staff effectively within the Home; ensuring excellent standards of care are delivered.

Applicants must have a strong background in Nursing Home management and be a Registered Nurse.

The post has negotiable salary depending on experience.
